Small Spring Break
This Spring we got to visit Gran Canaria in Spain, a beautiful island with lots of tourist attractions.
A few years back we visited Tenerife, and we enjoyed it a lot, so wanted to relive the experience. We traveled again with our dear friends Anca and Cătălin.
The food in Spain is always good and goes well with a glass of Sangria, the local beer with lemonade, or a Piña Colada cocktail.
For me, one of the vacation highlights was our trip to Mirador Del Balcón, and seeing a beautiful sunset from that viewpoint.

We experienced sunny days, and beautiful little cities, we visited the botanical garden, a cactus-themed park, Poema del Mar, an aquarium full of bio-diversity that has the biggest tank in the world, and Barranco de las Vacas, a stunning-looking canyon sculpted by water over the years.
We left Las Dunas de Maspalomas for our last day on the island. This is a nature reserve consisting of a unique ecosystem of moving sand dunes on the south coast of the island.
