What is the Unix Time?
The unix time (date timestamp) is the method of tracking time as a total of seconds (count of seconds). This count starts on January 1st, 1970 at UTC, which is considered as the Unix Epoch, in other words, the unix time stamp represent the number of seconds between a particular date and the Unix Epoch.
