Summer of 2024: Festivals, Friends, and Unforgettable Moments

This summer, my husband Cezar and I embarked on an incredible journey that took us from the electrifying Tons of Rock festival in Oslo to revisiting my childhood home, and two unforgettable festivals we attend every year with friends. From the magic of live music to reconnecting with my roots, it was a season filled with joy, nostalgia, and great company.

Summer Adventures

This summer was filled with unforgettable moments! My husband, Cezar, and I kicked things off by traveling to Oslo for the Tons of Rock festival. I had a media pass, and Cezar had a photo pass, giving us access to all the festival days. The weather was perfect, and I was beyond excited to finally see Tool live—they had the best sound across all the stages! We also got to see ZZ Top (probably the last chance to see them live), Metallica, Judas Priest, Avantasia, Greta Van Fleet, W.A.S.P., Parkway Drive, and many others.

After the festival, we spent an extra week in Oslo exploring the city with our friends.

Later in the summer, we took a short trip to visit the place where I grew up. I showed Cezar the house where my grandparents once lived. It was a bittersweet experience, seeing something that was once so alive now empty and abandoned.

The next leg of our summer adventures took us to two more festivals we attend every year with friends: ARTmania in Sibiu and Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Râșnov. It’s always such a joy to spend time with friends, enjoying music and having fun together. I’m truly grateful for these shared moments.

To wrap up the summer, I had a fantastic time reconnecting with my colleagues at Dekode Days back in Oslo. It was the first time for me to see the Gloria effect from the plane, with the plane perfectly centered.
