A Relaxing Autumn Break in Crete, Greece
Seeking a break from the busy summer, we escaped to Crete with our close friends, for a relaxed autumn getaway.

Autumn Break in Greece
After a packed summer and some intense work period, Cezar and I, along with our dear friends Anca and Cătălin, decided to take a breather in Crete.
We had visited this beautiful island before, but this time was all about slowing down, enjoying simplicity, and immersing ourselves in the relaxed Cretan vibe.
Each day, we explored a new beach, taking in the warmth of the sun and the gentle lull of the waves. The water was clear, warm, and perfect for swimming. We especially loved Episkopi Beach and Falasarna Beach – tranquil, scenic, and just the right spot to unwind. Another highlight was Georgioupolis, with its charming atmosphere, and the natural beauty of Sarakina Gorge offered a refreshing change of scenery.

A visit to the Botanical Park & Gardens of Crete added a lush touch to our trip, while Chania provided a dose of culture and history. As expected, the Greek cuisine was amazing, and each meal was a reminder of the flavors we love here.
One thing we especially enjoyed was the off-season calm. The island was quieter, the pace was slower, and there was a refreshing lack of crowds. It was exactly what we needed – an escape into nature, warmth, and wonderful company.
