Our Small Spring Break
We had a small spring break and used the time to enjoy the amazing scenery and delicious food in Spain. Anca and Cătălin, our dear friends, joined in this adventure. This was not a typical vacation, we got to witness “calima”, the dense Saharian dust cloud, and for two days the sky was orange (and it was literally raining mud), so our outdoor adventures were limited. Andalusia offers a lot of tourist attractions, and all turned out to be great, even if we had to suddenly adapt our plans.

We visited The Picasso Museum and The Interactive Music Museum in Málaga (we were even allowed to play the instruments, and also discovered the creativity of ancient people in building musical instruments), The Caves of Nerja (this was unexpectedly warm and dry compared to all the caves we visited), The Butterfly Park of Benalmadena, the narrow and swell streets of Setenil de las Bodegas (the city is carved into the surrounding cliffs), we traversed again the stone bridge spanning the Ronda gorge, admired the beautiful traditional whitewashed streets of Mijas, and did a small hike at Jarapalos.
