LPS 14.2.0 New Features Live Demos
This page shows an example of the Latest Post Shortcode block setup, mostly focused on the new features that were released in version 14.2.0.

New Features
The version 14.2.0 adds two new experimental features: the masonry style and the inline filters.
This is a free WordPress plugin, that I have created and maintained since 2015, with many options and flexibility in use, that can be set up in your project as simple shortcodes, Gutenberg block, or Elementor widgets.
You can see the full change log, read more about the plugin features and access more live demos at Latest Post Shortcode, the Easy Way to Display Posts.
Masonry Style
The plugin has a new output option in 14.2.0, which allows you to display the cards as masonry style.
The cards can use a minimalisit slide in effect (you can turn this on/off from the settings modal), and when you are using the overlay mode, you can select if the card height is adjusted based on the card info or the card image.
Note: when you use the card image as the card height driver, make sure you are using a sub-size that has different heights (scale, not crop type), otherwise, all cards would be equal and no visible masonry effect.
The masonry style can be combined with the inline filters feature, as you can see below, in the demo.
Inline Filters
The plugin adds a new feature in 14.2.0, which allows you to display the inline filters based on the taxonomy you select. The inline filters are adjusting based on the articles you have on the page. Load more items in the demo below, and see that the inline filters are updating based on the new content that appears.
